The newest project of world music from Timişoara was initiated by Horea Crişovan – a musician that needs no further introduction in Romania. Horea took the stage at PLAI on Saturday, 12 September, in an exceptional trio formula: Horea Crişovan, Teo Milea and Cristi Raţiu. These are three professional musicians that have recently thought up a new musical adventure full of feeling and emotion to be experienced at PLAI 2009.

You could also see Horea at our Festival, Sunday, 13 September 2009, during a workshop, where he had a big surprise for everyone present, by bringing two of Italy’s biggest guitarists: Andrea Ballarin and Davide Peron.

If you’ve heard of Manne Guitars Italy (www.manne.com), you must have heard about its owner – Andrea Ballarin. Horea has been working as artist and endorser at Manne Guitars Italy since 2005.
You could both experience and see what these two can do if you came to their workshop, where they talked about how to make guitars while being accompanied by musical pieces. The workshop ended with a short concert by Davide Peron, alongside Andrea Ballarin, and guests: Horea Crişovan – guitar – and Călin Cercel – bass.
