Founded in 1965 at Timişoara University’s Student Club, Thespis Student Theater is now part of the Student Culture House from Timişoara.

Thespis is the biggest and best known theater group for students from Timişoara. Having been around for such a long time, this theater groups has become a bit like a family to everyone that has had anything to do with Thespis. Theater is a very personal experience, but it turns into this public emotion that everyone takes part in. Thespis offers the opportunity of interaction with all aspects of the theatrical experience.
