Is a non-profit organization that develops cultural activities in hopes of promoting Polish culture in most of the European countries (Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Great Britain, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine, Hungary) and outside Europe (Israel, USA and Republic of Moldova).

Their source of finance is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

Recognizing the importance of intercultural dialogue, promoting polish culture among the culture loving audience of Romania is the main concern. In this sense, the Polish Institute in Bucharest supports notable people from fields such as literature, music, visual arts, cinematography, theater and many more, presenting them to the Romanian public.
