Rubin Foundation’s mission is to promote art through unconventional ways and to bring focus on artists. The founders and animators of the foundation are young people that are not directly involved in arts. They come mostly from the business area and wish to institutionalize their admiration for quality art and to use their managerial and organizational experience to put into motion genuine creativity. And so they promote young artists whose artworks and initiatives are daring and iconoclastic. Above all, Rubin Foundation affirms the supremacy of esthetic value above any other norms or contingent motives. Well-known in Timişoara for its artistic activities, Rubin Foundation set up a special program at PLAI every year, offering exhibitions and original workshops.
