The Local Youth Council of Timişoara is run by the Intercultural Institute of Timişoara, Timişoara City Hall, the School Inspectorate of the Timiş County and the Students’ Cultural Centre within the national project PALTIN, promoted by the association MASTER Forum.

The Local Youth Council of Timişoara is aimed at representing young people in the community, their direct participation in the local public life, to establish relations with the local public institutions, as well the implementation of their own projects.

A new type of society is proposed to the entire community (to the Local Administration, to the local NGOs, to high schools, to parents) and this is a society based more on youth’s needs, their initiatives and on finding solutions to some problems that concern them directly.
