Plai 2009
PLAI 2009, for us, was a continuation of the ideas from which PLAI Festival started. Even more, we feel that we were able to improve, year after year, growing more and more, and so everything you experienced at PLAI Festival we also experienced by being able to enjoy this beautiful diversity that keeps us learning constantly.
We had music from all over the world, starting from Timişoara (Horea Crişovan), onto Macedonia (Esma Redzepova), Germany (Farfarello), Georgia (The Shin), and arriving in Tuva (Sainkho Namtchylak) or the Ivory Coast (Dobet Gnahore). Embassies or Consulates – like Peru, Israel, or Portugal -, Cultural Centers – French, German, Polish or Austrian – and many NGOs were with us, completing this musical, artistic and multicultural mix that is PLAI Festival.
