Already familiar to the audience of Timişoara from PLAI 2006, vibraphonist and jazz composer Eldad Tarmu, Israeli born American, has been teaching at the “Richard Oschanitzky” Faculty of Jazz Tibiscus University of Timişoara. His name is linked to renowned jazz festivals in the world, some of which had him as a musical director. At PLAI Festival, Eldad Tarmu held vibraphone workshops, this being the artist’s favorite musical instrument.
