Cab fares in Timişoara are 1.49 lei/km (1.79 lei/km – at night). This would mean that from the North Train Station, for example, to the Banat Village Museum, you would have to pay about 12 lei. In any case, you must pay attention to the cab you are about to take, because there are some that tax double or triple the normal cabes do! Try to keep in mind some of the taxi campanies names or even their phone numbers to order them, as it is the safest.
