concertTündérground

Tündérground is the musical realm of seven people, who in 2004, in a cafe in Miercurea Ciuc, have decided to start a band.

Their first show was an improvisation named “Pues nada” (“Then nothing “). The show was a clear success and urged continuation.

The band established the current formula upon getting together with a violinist and guitarist in the spring of 2005. They began to make themselves known as Tündérground, giving concerts in cities in Hungary and Romania.

The initial influences of light jazz and contemporary music were gradually transformed in contemporary sounds based on party sounds that complete themselves in live dance music produced by a wide range of instruments.

The novelty that this band brought in the music scene of Romania is the variety of instruments used. Their instrumental music sang on the flute, jew’s harp, electric and acoustic guitar, electric violin, drums and bass, has a unique sonority.

They will be with us at PLAI on Friday, September 16, 2011.
